About

John Sloss (born 1956) is one of independent cinema's most influential figures — an entertainment lawyer, film sales agent, producer, and talent manager who founded Cinetic Media in 2001 and the law firm Sloss Eckhouse Dasti Haynes LawCo in 1993. He has produced or executive produced over 70 films, including Academy Award-winning titles Boyhood, Green Book, The Fog of War, and Boys Don't Cry, and has facilitated the sale and/or financing of over 400 films through Cinetic. He is a Board Member of Film at Lincoln Center, a member of the AMPAS Finance Committee, a BAFTA full member, and an Entrepreneur in Residence at Harvard Business School.
