Shaheen Baig is a British BAFTA-nominated and Emmy Award-winning casting director based in London, with nearly three decades of experience across film and television. She founded Shaheen Baig Casting (SBC) in 2002 and has built a reputation for discovering and nurturing new talent, with landmark credits including Adolescence (Netflix), Peaky Blinders, Black Mirror, Lady Macbeth, God's Own Country, and The Impossible. Beyond her casting work, she is a trustee of Open Door, co-founder of the NFTS Casting Assistant Certificate Course, a BAFTA and Academy member, and recipient of the 2023 Royal Television Society Baird Medal and a 2026 Honorary NFTS Fellowship.
