Stuart Ford is a British-born film and television producer, financier, and entrepreneur based in Los Angeles, best known as the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of AGC Studios, the independent production, financing, and global licensing company he launched in February 2018. Oxford-educated and a former entertainment attorney, Ford previously founded IM Global in 2007 and built it into one of the industry's leading independent film and TV platforms before launching AGC. He has produced or executive produced nearly 80 films and television shows — including Hacksaw Ridge, Hit Man, The Tinder Swindler, and Those About to Die — assembling in excess of $2 billion in independent production financing across his career. In May 2023, he was honored with Variety's 'Billion Dollar Producer' award at the Cannes Film Festival, and has been named to the Variety 500 list multiple years running.
