Barunson E&A

Barunson E&A (Barunson Entertainment & Arts Corp.) is a Seoul-based, KOSDAQ-listed South Korean production, financing, and international sales company founded in 1996. The company is best known globally for producing Bong Joon-ho's Oscar-winning film Parasite (2019), which won the Palme d'Or at Cannes, four Academy Awards including Best Picture, and was released in 205 countries. Since launching its international division in 2022, Barunson E&A has aggressively expanded into international co-production, sales, and remake rights licensing, with a particularly strong foothold in Southeast Asia through partnerships with Indonesian, Thai, and Vietnamese production companies.
